This is such a rad idea!! Click through for the link.

Better than what?
This is a terrible idea. Drink from the tap. You’re not too precious for tap water. Seriously. Just get a filter and a surplus canteen.

I like to talk about environmentally friendly things on this blog once in a while, and I feel pretty strongly about the bottled water issue. Especially after seeing the product above, and also seeing this get passed around yesterday.
Besides the fact of bottled water being ridiculously expensive when you can get the same thing, no actually better, for next to nothing. Besides the fact it is contained in a plastic bottle which fills landfills. Besides the fact it isn’t regulated and they can tell you there is magic inside of the bottle. Besides all of the negative things, what keeps people from wanting to drink tap water?
First off, I would like to put a little blame on State and City governments. They really need to do a better job marketing the fact that tap water is fine. If you are completely insecure about it, you can also do what I did:
Go to your local home supply or hardware store and buy an inline water filter. I installed one under my sink which connects to my cold water line. It cost me $35, and the filter lasts for 6 months and costs $11. I can tell you there is a HUGE difference with the filter.
You can also get a whole house water filter, that filters all water that comes into your house, for under $200.

I’m going to have to climb up on the soapbox next to evrt.  I agree with everything he says on this subject.

Not only is bottled water not any better, it may actually be worse than your local tap just depending on where you live. Both Aquafina and Dasani are nothing more than processed municipal water (no wonder they both taste nasty, huh).
